buyer provided wrong address. wants seller to pay for shipping to correct address

the buyer provided an incorrect address to ship package to. now, they want the seller , me, to pay for return shipping to right address

what can i do?

As a seller, you're required to ship items to the address provided by the buyer during checkout. If the buyer entered an incorrect address and the item is returned to you, it's their responsibility to cover the cost of reshipping to the correct address. You can request the buyer to pay for the additional shipping charges before sending the item again. If the buyer refuses and the situation becomes difficult to resolve, you can ask eBay to step in by requesting a callback through eBay Customer Support.

Thank you. It's as I thought it should be. How would I collect the payment for shipping to the right address?

@a1tv_917. My advice is refund the item price only minus original shipping costs or extra fees such as promoted listing.  

Then relist the item so that the buyer can pay again with the correct address at checkout. 

Alternately you can ask for the buyers PayPal email address and send the buyer an invoice. 

No need to contact customer service as they can't help you collect $ from the buyer to reship.
