Did you mean:

buyer asked me "what would you like to do?"

I sold item under for parts or not working. I also stated I didn't know if it worked or not. Buyer sent me an email saying "The radio came in today... it was well packed! Great job! Unfortunately, the left speaker side is dead (on both A and B settings). What would you like to do?

How should I answer this buyer?

Thank you for any suggestions.

You need to put "for parts" in the listing title. The subtitle doesn't count. And of course you would want this to be the most prominent part of your item description as well (for example, the first paragraph above the rest of the description rather than everything in one paragraph).

It appears the buyer didn't see the subtitle or read the description. You could reply in your best customer service manner to point out that he is correct...as stated in the listing subtitle and description, the item was for parts/not working, and ask if there is something more you can help with to see what he has to say. But if he opens an Item Not as Described case, you will likely lose it, so if he wants to return the item, you would probably be best off accepting the return for a refund.

(You'll want to correct your active listings ASAP.)
