Can't figure out what has changed but it ain't as easy as it used to be. I type in very specific items i want to look up, in my case i look up automobile dashboard clocks, and i specify the year the model and very clearly dash clock. Yes i do see a number of clocks but not the particular model of clock with several other models and then a whole array of hub caps, carburetors, steering wheels, nuts and bolts and so on. None of which is related to my search for let's say a 1957 chevy dash clock, that i think is pretty defined and expecting to see for the most part that year and make dash clock but along with a few of those clocks there are two pages of Ford bumper jacks, buick tie rods, so on and so forth. I just don't get it, how do i refine my search?

Re: browsing

Some sellers fill their listings with incorrect information to get their items to appear in more searches, or because the sellers are too lazy to check the details when creating new listings, and list in the wrong category. Otherwise, if you are searching for interior parts in the correct category, there should be no hub caps in the results.

With some care it is possible to weed out the worst offenders using the Advanced Search to exclude those sellers' items by seller username.

Some filtering may help, and then using "Best Match" sort should bring most of the clock-related listings to the top of the sort:
