by coincidence, someone in my town was selling an item, so i picked that seller, instead of other similarly priced options, believing it would arrive fairly quickly, and i'd be supporting local businesses.
then tracking showed the item was dropshipped to a different state (likely from overseas), before coming my way. i ordered it 10 days ago, and it still hasnt arrived. there is a massive pile of evidence clearly showing they are lying about where the item was shipping from. when i try to tell them this isn't allowed they play dumb, and make claims that do not match the tracking, and the time taken to ship.
this is misrepresentation of item location, yes?
this is against ebay rules, yes?
it is a category you can select when reporting a listing.
but no matter how i report it, an automated system decides there is nothing wrong. how do i get my report into the hands of a person, and not an AI?
