What is meant by Your Item Will Sell in a green background. Does it mean you have to sell the item even if you don't get a good bid?

That makes sense, but I didn’t set the starting price. Maybe I just haven’t figured things out yet. It was just there, so I thought eBay had set it. It is way under what I would have set. So I will likely have to take a big loss on the item. I had a high bid early on, but didn’t see it until after the 24 hour period, which I also didn’t know about and understand. Thanks for your clear explanation. It is better than what I got from eBay’s help.

YOU set the starting bid, so no bid should be lower than what you think of as a good price. When an auction ends with a winning bid, and the buyer pays, you’re expected to ship the item.

Yo decided what you wanted for the item when you set your starting price.
Once the auction is over and the highest bidder pays, ship the item.

A good bid is the starting bid amount that you already set at the lowest price you were willing to accept. Congrats!!!!
