I've used PayPal as a method to pay in the past and was able to split the payment between two cards.
Yesterday, I wanted to make an offer on an item but only if I could split the payment between two cards. To test it, I put the item in my cart, selected to pay with paypal, and it gave me the option to split the payment. Great.
So I made an offer to a seller, they accepted. I put the item in my cart and now PayPal will NOT let me split payment. It's just offering the one option. It's the same vendor that I tested less than 24 hours ago.
I've logged out and back in of both accounts. I have no reference to PayPal in my "payments" section of Ebay. I have the two cards entered in PayPal just like I did when I tested. I can select one or the other now, but not split them. I tried to run it through on the one card (a debit card with a lower balance) and it just rejected it. I wanted to split it to use all of one balance and put the rest on the other.
Is there a trick to get the split option to show up? Thank you.

Offers are different from "buy it now", and the options to pay may not be the same.
