Wrong item sent..refund filed by buyer...correct item sent but can't cancel the refund.

Hello all... I accidentally sent the wrong item to a buyer.  He filed a return/refund and mailed back the item.  As he mailed the item back I sent him the correct item.  Now Ebay is wanting me to close the refund by giving back the money but the buyer now has the correct item and is happy.  Does the buyer need to cancel the return filed or is there something I can do to release the held money.  Thanks.

The buyer has to cancel the return.
