Writing or printing your own labels but still getting a tracking number

Hello, I am very curious if anybody can tell me  is there anyway that I can write my own labels or print them and also get a tracking number  that I can upload.

Because you are supposed to upload one to get paid, right ??? Or do you have too ???

I'm just really confused on how to do this.

Can somebody give me a detailed step by step on how they do it please 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Writing or printing your own labels but still getting a tracking number

There are very few things you can send without tracking.  A letter has to be less than 1/4" thick, a 'large envelope' has to be less than 3/4" thick, both must be flexible. These services you hand write the address on the label and use stamps or pay at the PO, they do not include tracking.

Anything larger you have to send as a package, which means you are going to get a tracking number. You want to enter the tracking into eBay to mark the item shipped and let your buyer track his package.

It is cheaper to buy your package labels here on eBay - or any other online service  - you get a significant discount compared to paying at the PO. If you buy your labels here, you don't have to upload the tracking - it is automatic.

There are some services like pirateship.com that will fetch the buyer info then send the tracking # to eBay.  This is a good solution if you are selling on other sites as well as eBay.

Since you are a new seller, your payments will not be released until tracking shows delivery, some will be held longer.  Without tracking, I think they will hold your payments 21 or 30 days.

Also - without tracking, you will have to refund any buyer that says not received, since you will have no proof of delivery.
