Would like to give a partial refund to a buyer

The listing included (in details) to wait for me to invoice the buyer since I could give a shipping discount.  The shipping on this item was very high, IMHO.  He went ahead and paid before I could invoice him.  How can I give him a partial refund?  I can't find a way to do it in either Seller Hub or My EBay.   thanks!

Go to the item in Seller Hub on the See all orders page.

On the left side of the item is a pull-down menu and near the bottom of the list is the Send refund link, click that. 

The next page use the pull-down menu at the top and then select Shipping discount at the bottom of the list.

Type a message in the field below that then enter the amount you are refunding in the pricing area and cycle through completion at the bottom of the page.  Another pop up will open for you to confirm the refund.

You will get two messages, one saying to hang tight while they process the refund and then one that confirms the refund.
