I bought an item been described as immaculate but after been delivered realised its defective contacted the seller but denied, opened case through ebay & it was on my favour & they sent me shipping label to return which I done & provided them the tracking number. 2 days after the items been delivered to the seller & i heard nothing,being un patient I thought about opening dispute through PayPal as well not knowing when I do that the ebay case will be closed 😥.. am I I still secure to get my money back ?

You should have asked eBay to step in. A normal step if a procedure misses the right followup.
Now you need to add the tracking number to your PP dispute and escalate (ask PP to step in) as soon as you can.
