Bait and switch going on here on eBay...why would eBay allow a seller to send a purchased item without a tracking number?
And why does eBay allow the bait and switch locations when purchasing an item? I've looked at items, that are assuming to be purchased mailed within the US( I look before I purchase) ....?
A recent item I purchased was listed as shipping here in USA, but when I hit the purchase button.....the shipping switched to from China with no tracking number and a 3 month delivery period???????!!!!... unheard of of, and VERY Shady business practices.
Not pleased w eBay for allowing this, especially when a customer is treated this way.
No communication from seller either , as they informed me they'd attach a tracking number...so far.. nothing...
eBay is ripping people off

eBay doesn’t require sellers use tracking numbers at all. Tracking is for the sellers benefit, not the buyer. Several types of shipping don’t have tracking that can be followed throughout the shipping process, and only provide delivery scans. And most items shipped from outside the US, whether it be from China or the UK’s Royal Mail, don’t have tracking that US buyers are able to view.
