I leave valid, truthful negative feedback about the awful amazon-prime resellers on Ebay and Ebay takes it down.

Hi @stwal1473
Dropshipping from Amazon is a policy violation. You can report the seller here:

I don't know why the feedback was removed, but eBay will remove feedback that violates policy.

A. Feedback was within guidelines.
B. What wasn't within guidelines; Seller reselling items from their Amazon Prime account.
Representing themselves to be a US based business. (China)
This is ALL info available to eBay and yet they not only do nothing, they delete my valid, honest (And withing guidelines) feedback regrading this transaction.

Apparently eBay disagreed that the feedback was within guidelines. There is no way for any of us to know the rational for the feedback removal or, assuming you reported the seller as advised, what they did based on that report.

The only thing not within "guidelines" was me outing eBay for not following their own SOP/ trying to cover that up and disrespecting their customer base.

In other words, jack-s***. Good to know.

Ebay Sellers are allowed to have Amazon fulfill their orders as long as the Seller does not abuse their Prime membership and mark it as a gift and include a gift receipt.

But when buyers try to alert other buyers that this is what is happening, eBay deletes negative feedback warning other buyers so they don't have to put up w/ the nonsense most of the amazon-resellers pull. That is HIGHLY unethical!

Hi @stwal1473
eBay rarely removes feedback. That's why you can find eBay sellers with TERRIBLE feedback percentages. There was something about the feedback eBay found that led them to take that action. No one here knows what that was - we can only guess.
As @fashionsandbeauty4u mentioned, this might be an Amazon seller who uses Fulfillment by Amazon to fill orders on all the platforms they use for selling from their own stock stored in Amazon DC. That is NOT a violation. Dropshipping from Amazon where the seller goes to Amazon and buys the item to fill an eBay order IS a violation). There are other things that could have triggered the removal as well, but as we can't see the feedback, we can't even guess at what that might have been.

I think this as been beat to death. Suffice to say eBay will screw over honest customers to get a few pennies from dishonest, unethical sellers.

Did some research on this "amazon fulfillment" stuff and all, but one package I have been receiving from these amazon reseller bozos (And most are just that!) have had "gift receipts". I understand this IS a eBay policy violation, but eBay continues to do nothing about it so they can rake in some more profit. Am I incorrect?
