Why do I get notifications about items I'm not watching

I can't contact eBay, you get the runaround by seeing articles that tell you that you should ask the community, why do I get notifications about items I'm not watching, I'm tired of getting notifications for items that I could care less about!

Sellers can send offers to potential buyers that either add an item to a Watch List, add an item to a cart, or view an item more than once. Users that do not want such offers can uncheck a box on the Communication Preferences page to stop receiving any offers.

If that is not the source of the messages, check the other settings on that page, or check your Saved Searches and stop email alerts for any searches you do not want updates about.
