I remember the days when a buyer/seller on eBay could speak with a live eBay rep. Now, and through what appears to be "Woke Ignorance", the aforementioned can't even email, or chat with an eBay rep let alone speak with one. In what world is that okay, or a way to operate a business. That horrible decision will be the eventual end of eBay unless the egotistical geniuses who decided to do this reverse that decision. What a shame!

I don't understand why everything has to have a political element. It is simple economics - most questions can be answered by reading the policy pages, unless it is account-specific. Then all you have to do is request a call. The semi-automated system is used by almost all large companies now, regardless of their politics.
To speak to customer service, follow the instructions on this page to work through the automated assistant to request a call back - select agent when it is an option -

I remember the days when a buyer/seller on eBay could speak with a live eBay rep.
And those days are still here. All you have to do is request a call back from eBay using the link on the left side of the page at this link:

Alternatively, you can ask your question here and experienced member responders will try to help. That's what this board is here for.

Thanks for the advise, but simple economics? Maybe you're not aware, but about 45% of our population is inept when it comes to the understanding of economics if not more, and because of that they vote for degenerates, and criminals such as the ones currently controlling things in D.C., and the blue states, which, of course, is destroying the economy for all of us. Oh no! Wait. I forgot. It's Putin's fault. LOL!!! As for your question of "why everything has to have a political element?" I'm not sure of that myself, but it certainly does for the aforementioned individuals. I appreciate your assistance, and your desire to help. Thanks again.

I mean economical for the companies that use the semi-automated systems. It simply costs less than having a large staff of folks answering the phones, when most questions can be answered by reading - especially the money back guarantee.
I don't like it here, or at the cable company, etc, but it is something we all have to adjust to.
Or just ask here 🙂
