When searching an item the things that pop up are not even close to what I am searching.

All kinds of u related items pop up. For example, looking for fugural oil lamp and watches come up in the search as well as lamps.

How are you searching, exactly?

When I go to ebay.com and type in figural oil lamp and search, I get this:

The search provides me with 235 results in the Lamps category that ship to my location, and no watches that I can see.

If you are using "Best Match" sort order and seeing unrelated results, try sorting by "Newly Listed" instead.
