So I sold an item that was over $100 to an international buyer. From the looks of it, the account started the same day as the purchase. And the fact its an international order, im very hesitant because I suspect it is a fraud account and I don't wanna be scammed. They did already pay but when I go to the address, all that shows is the country, city, and area code. I messaged the buyer but haven't received any response back. I also contacted ebay about it to see if they can check on the validity of the account before I decide to ship the item. This is the 3rd day and I don't wanna hurt my account with the wait. What would you do in this situation?

@buy_my_randomness I just checked the last item you sold and it's being shipped with eBay International Shipping so you just ship to the US forwarding center. Just print the eBay label from next to the sold item and it will have a code on it that ties the sale to you and the buyer.
eBay handles it from there. Once the item leaves the US if the sale falls through for ANY reason then eBay refunds the buyer and you keep the sale.

Hello and thank you for responding so quickly. I have a question for you. If you were in my position, would you feel comfortable sending the item off? I have had this situation happen before once but not internationally. Hearing from someone who has had so much more experience than me would really help. Thank u

@buy_my_randomness. Since it's being shipped with Ebay International shipping I would not worry at all. Ebay handles ALL refunds out of their pocket for EIS sales. Just be sure to ship to the US package forwarding center.
If it was a domestic buyer i might have a different opinion since I would have to cover refunds.
