When we purchase an item in eBay we then create a Bill in Quickbooks for basic accounting or to enter in an inventory item. My question is what number is best to use for a Bill Number? (Ref. No. on the Bill) The best number for future reference or searches. Instead of using the actual eBay Order Number we used to use the last 8 of the Tracking Number because we could use those 8 digits to search for that item in the future. Well that no longer works. You'd think that using the actual eBay Order Number in the Search Your Orders box would work but it doesn't. You have to search using a word in the description. Is there any way to search for an old order? I know that you can search using words or a time frames but how about the order itself using a number? Thanks for any help.
