What to do when performance is below standard and you are limited

 I get

"Your seller performance is below standard
It looks like you haven’t met the minimum requirements to sell on eBay, which means we’ve limited the amount of items you can list."

I guess I was out of town and didn't ship things on time. But I always refunded if customer asked me to.

But it's not just only that I cannot sell more items. I cannot delete existing items to add new ones. And the ones I have are too expensive and I cannot reduce the price. I am told that my account will be completely removed in 1-2 months if I don't sell any of those unsellable items.

It seems a stupid policy for redemption or I was misinformed? Anything I can do? Ask a friend to buy my items?

It has been several years since I was a below standard seller.  However, I was still able to list a multi-quantity item with free shipping.  I made no money on the item, but it did increase my sales, which helps to decrease the defect rate.  It took many months, but I was finally an above standard seller.
