What is the return window for an item

Buyer want to send back an item that was delivered on june 25th, return requested july 20. How long does a buyer have to return a good item, a month a year? forever>

Yes, according to Ebay's Money Back Guarantee the buyer can file a Return Request up to 30 days from date of delivery if item is defective/damaged/not as described.

Your return policy on your listing only applies to instances of buyer's remorse.
