I wouldn't have this problem if eBay allowed me to block buyers with new accounts and less than 5 ratings confirmed ratings and purchases to that account.
I put something up for auction and attracted a buyer who is brand new the day of my auction!!!?!!!
He aggressively out bids other bidders. I don't mind the push-up in price but I am not desperately greedy.
What would happen if I block him if a more reliable/established bidder outbids him and THEN I block him???
Would his bids value stand?
I am tired of bidders who dont pay. When I relist my Item is always sells for a 20% value loss when this happens 😞

Hi @mediabmc77
If a buyer hasn't paid by day five, select the cancellation option in the dropdown next to the order using the reason that the buyer hasn't paid. The buyer will earn an unpaid item strike on his account. Two or more and his ability to buy will be limited or even ended.
Add the buyer to your blocked buyer list here:
https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements
Scroll down that page and turn on the option to auto-block buyers with 2 or more unpaid items within 12 months. That will help to protect you from repeat offenders.
Once you've cancelled for non-payment, then you can make a second-chance offer or relist.

Blocking does not cancel any bids, nor vice versa. If you don't want him to win the item cancel AND block NOW, to give time for the price to rebound. If you aren't willing to sell to him you should not let his bid set the price.
Go to the Site Map (link at the bottom of this and most ebay.com pages) Sell Section (use the shortcut at the top--it's a long scroll down) and you'll find the link to both functions and several other useful seller tools.
