What happened to Parcel Select shipping???

Apparently per customer service Ebay no longer allows sellers to purchase and use Parcel Select shipping.  They however still give the option when creating a listing.

Item I just shipped was listed using Parcel Select and buyer was charged $17 and change.  Tried to print the label but there is no longer a Parcel Select option.  Customer service tells me to just take the item to the post office.  Ok no biggie except the shipping ended up costing over $22.

Why are they still allowing that shipping option when creating a listing with no way to purchase and print the label???

ebay offers shipping options for a few methods in case the seller wants to use them, but they cannot print the label on ebay.  They recently did this with Parcel Select Ground.  You can go to Paypal, pirateship, or stamps.com, and other third party providers to print the label.  At the post office you will be paying for USPS Retail Ground.
