A seller sold me a high grade counterfeit Cartier Santos over 6 months ago. Now the seller is not answering my messages. The watch cost me over $5,000 and the Cartier boutique returned it to me as being 99.9% fake. My only choice is to send it to France for final judgment and if confirmed as fake they will disassemble it to take it off the market. I am feeling like a serious crime has taken place and am strongly considering hiring a lawyer. Does anyone else have any recommendations on a course of action or a similar experience? The seller has no business selling items on the platform if they knowingly perpetrate crimes on consumers like myself.

PayPal and most credit cards offer some protection for up to six months, but some card issuers may offer more protection in certain cases. Contact your credit card issuer to see what your options are at this point.
