WSJ Subscriptions - Legal?

There are many sellers on ebay offering a Wall Street Journal subscription at extremely low rates. Are these legitimate?  And do these violate the WSJ terms of service?

WSJ Subscriptions - Legal?

Buying subscriptions on eBay is not wise. Most likely those sellers do not have the rights to offer such subscriptions.

The seller could very easily sign the buyer up for a trial subscription. By the time the trial runs out or the buyer begins getting an actual bill from the paper, eBay's thirty day money back guarantee would have expired. Depending on the type of subscription or how quickly the buyer notices the problem, getting a refund through PayPal or a credit card might be difficult as well.

eBay is good for purchasing physical items that can be shipped, tracked, and verified to be as described within thirty days. Licenses, subscriptions, services and items like seeds that cannot be evaluated in that time frame make it much harder to get your money back if there is a problem later.
