Viewing & saving sold / completed listing info for pricing research before I list an item

Why can't I save sold or ended listings that I find while doing research before I list my own similar item.  There's still the option to save them to a list or create a list like years past, but nothing actually is saved to the list selected.  I've been selling on here since 1999 and it seems the platform changes never end.  The continual site "improvements" always add complications.  Even stating a shipping amount for my listings is now a 4 or 5 step process when originally I could simply enter an amount in the box.  Anyway, any advice or words of wisdom would be appreciated.   Thank you kindly.

Can't you save the ended/sold listings to your Watchlist ?  You could create a separate custom list so those listings don't get mixed up with active listings you are watching.

Thank you for the reply, but unfortunately that option doesn't work any more either.  When clicking on the "add to a list" button  there are several options but none are responsive.  I've sent a message to tech support also and haven't heard a word which is why I tried this route as well.  Hopefully it's just a temporary glitch.
