Verifying email invoices

Has anyone ever paid by the way of eBay cards? I have been ask to pay this way and after 5 days I can decide if I want the vehicle or not. I had and invoice sent to me by eBay from the sellers request. Does this sound right

This is a SCAM.  There is no vehicle, ebay does not work this way.  Report it on the website you found the ad.

It is a SCAM that we are very familiar with.  eBay has nothing to do with vehicles listed on other websites.  The ‘invoice’ you received is FAKE.

If you pay with gift cards, you’ll have no way to get your money back once you realize you’ve been scammed.

This is a common scam, and you are dealing with a criminal who is trying to steal your money.

eBay has nothing to do with listings on other sites. If the item isn't listed on the eBay website and if you don't purchase it through the eBay listing, the transaction has nothing to do with eBay.
