I apologize if this concern has already been addressed.
I've been selling almost 2 years on Ebay. A while back I received a message from them asking me to verify my phone number and email address. I thought, "ok no problem". Phone number verified immediately. However, when I try to verify my email address, it asks me to reply to an email they sent, whereupon I would provide a security number assigned by them. Sounds simple, right? Well, I have tried everything I can think of but I never receive the email that Ebay says they sent. I've searched every folder, signed in/out, etc. I even went so far as to log in using another browser. No matter what I do, I never receive the email. Or if I do receive it, it's somewhere that I can find it. I've checked all of my email settings plus Ebay settings to see if there was something I could do. I have asked Ebay customer support for help but they are no help at all. Everything they suggested, I have already tried.
Ebay tells me that if I don't verify my email address by December 4th, my account will be suspended. Now.. I'm not the sharpest tool in the woodshed, but doesn't it stand to reason if they have been sending me messages for almost 2 years using my email address, wouldn't they know that it was legit?
I would appreciate any help, suggestions, a stiff drink or even a virtual hug lol. I'm seriously out of ideas. thanks

@maximum61 Sending a virtual hug! I am sure that this is beyond frustrating.
I am guessing that you checked the spam folder?
