Unable to update bank for payout because old bank is closed

I realized after selling an item that the payout went to a former bank account which has since been closed from my divorce.

After calling the bank I used to have an account with which is where the payout went, it will be rejected and sent back to eBay.

This process seems fine, but in the meantime I am unable to add a new bank/debit card for payout method because in order to update it, I have to type in the original old/closed down banks account number, which doesn’t exist anymore.

I then have discovered that eBay doesn’t have a human operator service for customer support. Any advice?

You still need to type in the old account number even though it is closed.  You then will be able to put in the new account number.
