USPS opening a package I shipped.

I shipped a package out via media as it was offer as an option for my buyer.  The USPS opened the box and have told my buyer that they need to pay an extra charge of 125.00 if they want the package.  The package had the correct weight on it & was package very well.  More or less they are now holding it hostage. Option here ?

Tell us exactly what was in the Media Mail package?

I just checked your Sold items ... nothing I see qualifies for Media Mail so it appears that you were trying to save a few bucks using the wrong shipping method.  USPS advises customers that they can and will open and inspect packages and I know they do that on questionable Media Mail shipments.  Sorry you got caught, pay the $ 125.00 for the Buyer so they can receive the item they purchased.
