USPS not doing initial scans and delays

Anyone else having this problem? USPS has stopped doing it's initial scans when receiving items for delivery. This results in no intermediate scans being done as the package travels to its destination. USPS is ONLY scanning upon delivery now on most of my shipments.  This also makes it look like I haven't shipped the item(s) as tracking info states,"USPS awaiting item". Combine that with the USPS experiencing heavy delays ( 1st class shipping is taking 14-21 days!!)  buyers are opening "have not received item" cases  and ebay is only allowing about 10 days total from the time the label is printed and the buyer  opening a case before they refund the buyer.  The buyer then receives the item  (usually later that day or within 2 days after receiving the refund) and ebay not only keeps their percentage but refuses to pay me. Ebay's advice, contact buyer and ask them to pay you!!! LOL!  and then says but hey don't worry we won't mark it against you! What a joke! I asked ebay to extend the time before a buyer can open a case or extend the time before they close the case because apparently they are aware  of the the above ( USPS is slacking because they are overwhelmed with shipping free COVID tests) but will not amend their "money back guarantee" for buyers... anyone else having this issue?

No. I'm not having those issues at all.

I ship multiple packages daily and my carrier scans my scan form. All packages are in the system by that evening.

Though there have been some weather delays due to severe storms in some areas of the country during the past couple of months, late arrivals have been pretty rare. In fact, many of my shipments arrive earlier than the estimated delivery date.

If you aren't getting scans, you should be creating scan forms for your carrier or the post office clerk to scan so everything goes into the system. Then you can pinpoint where any delay may be occurring.
