USPS Ground Advantage box size limit

When listing an item - after I enter the box weight and dimensions, I select my shipping service. I always select USPS Ground Advantage since I pay for the shipping and it’s always the cheapest. When you enter the weight and size when buying the shipping label, it states that the box cannot be over 70 lbs and dimensions over 130 inches (length + girth). I assume girth is width times height. Why does e-bay offer this shipping service if my dimensions are well over 130 inches and what other options do I have? My big boxes are about 9 lbs and 60”x12”x12” which would equal 204 inches. Thanks in advance.

Girth is the sum of the 4 sides, not width x height. So your package is 60+(12+12+12+12) = 108.
