On 12/24 I sold a sweater for $90.00. I shipped it on 12/24. My eBay shipping detail shows that it was shipped successfully. The buyer never received it. He filed a claim against me and eBay found in his favor. NOW, it appears the item is back in the system and will be delivered to him between 1/23-1/27.
I did everything to the letter. eBay gave him a refund (fine), and I have appealed. I have now lost a beautiful cashmere sweater, and they charged me $20+ in fees.
I don’t know what else to do. But that stung.

For $90, I would spend the $ for a package intercept - I think it is $18.https://www.usps.com/manage/package-intercept.htm
If the package does get delivered, contact the buyer and ask if they want to return it - you will send a shipping label - or keep it. If keep, how would they like to pay for it. You can use PayPal Venmo zelle paper check - exchange the needed contact info. Or you can create a listing called refund repayment for the buyer to purchase.
Most buyers are honest and will either return or repay the refund.
