I prepaid my shipping through E-Bay, dropped the item off at a UPS store and everything was fine. Later, I get an e-mail from E-Bay stating that the actual weight (determined by UPS) was too low. I have a receipt from the UPS store showing the weight being correct. UPS says my item weighed 11 pounds when it actually weighed in at 5.45 pounds and documented by the UPS store scale! UPS charged me an additional $19.00 for "my mistake" which in their fault, not mine. I've tried navigating through UPS's website as well as E-Bays and can't find out how to get a refund for this overcharge. This happened once before (about 3 months ago) and I just let it go. This time is just plain fraud!

@mediaguy1951 It could be a dimensional weight surcharge if your package measurements were not perfect. Always check for the HIGHEST point in each side of a box.
Unfortunately there's no way to dispute these surcharges through eBay. This is why I recommend using Pirateship.com for UPS as they do help with surcharge disputes and insurance claims. They charge the same or better rates as eBay.
We want your journey here to be as great as can be, so we have put together some links to help you get quickly familiarized with the eBay Community.
