Trustly and Privacy concerns

I have just tried to list an item. I was then asked to link my bank account, the only option that appeared was to do this through Trustly. As Ebay are a large business, I assumed that all would be ok, however the amount of information that Trustly would have access to and how long they would have access to it for felt like a massive invasion of privacy. Do I have to link my account through this 3rd party or is there another way? I tried the Microdeposits and this did not work. Does anyone else think this is poor service from ebay??

If you do not want to sign in using Trustly, scroll to the bottom of the bank list and choose "my bank is not on the list" -- you will be prompted to enter your details manually.

Trustly and Privacy concerns

I saw this on another forum and decided to try it, but it still makes you agree to Trustly terms and conditions? Are these terms and conditions different to the other ones?

This is the USA eBay website. You are registered in the UK web site.  Exit from the US eBay site and log on to the UK eBay site before trying to register for eBay selling.

No idea, sorry.

I was under the impression that Trustly was one option used to streamline the account link-up process.

If you are entering your own details manually, Trustly should have no involvement.
