Has any one had an issue with "eBay standard envelope" package tracking not getting updated? I have one package that was delivered at the customer's house a week ago, and it still say out for delivery. I can't get paid until it gets updated. I have another "eBay standard envelope" package that I shipped several days ago and it still says that it has not been shipped.

I have been hearing the same complaint from other sellers that are very experienced with the quirks of this shipping method. I suspect that since metered mail is low priority that it is getting less attention as the backlog from the fires and winter storms is clearing. You can only track this type metered mail with this tool> https://parcelsapp.com/en/tracking (if it gets scanned)
When you drop the cards off for shipping check to see if your post office has a Metered Mail box instead of the general mailing box. I have heard that using this box helps get the cards processed better.
As a fairly new seller you are subject to fund holds so even if tracking shows delivery you may not be paid for up to 30 days. Payment Holds
Here's my general advice for using ESD>
The eBay Standard Envelope for select items $20 or under is a metered mail system. ONLY the sorting equipment can read the code.
There's no reason for you to take a loss if the tracking never shows delivery or if it's damaged in shipment then you file an insurance claim.
The most common reason for not having an envelope scanned is because it was not flexible enough to go through the sorting equipment and was considered non machinable. I know of a high volume card seller who said they put three sheets of white paper around the card in a plain white envelope to protect it while it goes through the sorting equipment then it stays flexible and is not damaged.

Thank you for your help! 😀 I still have one that has not been scanned even though it was shipped several days ago. eBay say to ship it by today, if it does not get scanned (even though I already shipped it) does it effect me as a seller (or my rating)?

Go to the sold listing and see if you can select mark as shipped from the drop down menu next to the item.

In "orders" it is marked shipped, it is when you "view tracking" on the item that it says: tracking # provided Feb/12, Ship by Feb/19. Not sure what to do, is there anything I can do?🤔

I was just reading the shipping board and came across this>>
For anyone who wants to see the scans, you can enter your esus tracking number at https://trackmyshipment.co (which is currently broken and won't provide any updates for this number) but here you should find a longer tracking number that starts with "00" (this should be located above the "contact courier" button). once you have the "00" tracking number, enter it at https://parcelsapp.com

If you can get a tracking number with this method it might help you with getting your funds released after it shows delivery.

I don't personally ship with eBay Standard Envelope. I just know that MANY sellers were having this problem and offered suggestions to help solve the issue.
I am VERY happy to hear that your tracking is updating! Yours is the first report I have seen from a seller that it's working again. 🙂
