Time of item arrival

I had bought an item on eBay, a CD, and received an email from eBay at 13.48 today, 25th June saying "Hi James, your order has arrived"  It said it had been delivered to my correct address, BUT said it had been dropped off/delivered at 18.58 on 25th, today.  That is some 5 hours in advance of the time on the e-mail!  Can eBay's computers not tell the time, or is there something more sinister here?  Oh and, the item had NOT arrived by 13.48, the time of eBay's email telling me it had, and did not arrive at 18.58 either!  And still has not arrived.  It's apparently not possible to speak to a human being at eBay, and the online assistant, whatever that means, did NOT reply to my request for help.  First time using eBay to buy something, and suspect this will be the last.  James
