Long story short. eBay does not stand behind there customers at anytime. They are there for the sellers only. The customer service reps have no clue what they are talking about. They give false info, to get you off the phone.

@stemel5169 I am sorry you had a bad buying experienced and bad help from eBay customer service too.
If you tell me what your problem was I'd be able to offer advice. I know eBay's policies and procedures probably better than a lot of the phone reps.
Just don't mention the sellers user ID.
The eBay Money Back Guarantee is weighted in the buyers favor but there are time limits.
