Terrible email techniques

I have a basic email to ask Ebay about and I spent 2 hours going through a solutions page why so difficult to send a simple email to ebay about a question, I'm expected to respond immediatly why cant ebay do the same?   HOW DO YOU SEND A SIMPLE EMAIL TO EBAY????
