Telling me I have used too many gift cards lately and try in a few days

I get points for selling items at my job so I turn those points into gift cards for Ebay. Well I went to pay for a pair of sneakers and I received the error message that I have used a lot of gift cards lately and try again in a few days.  Admittedly, I have bought a lot of sneakers lately but nothing in the last 4 days. I have tried on webbrowser and on the app. Both give the same message. Any advice out there?

There are limits to how much you can spend using gift cards. I believe you are limited to $1000 per day or $1500 per calendar month in the US.

ahhhhhhhh   I tried looking for a spending limit and saw the per day but must have completely skimmed past the 1500 per month.  That actually makes a lot of sense why it was only allowing me to put the 43 bucks towards the purchase. I hit the 1500 with that $43.  Thanks for replying so quickly, I greatly appreciate it!
