Stuck in a PLEASE VERIFY YOURSELF loop when trying to list an item for sale

Each time I slide the little puzzle piece captcha over to fit the image, a green message pops up VERIFICATION SUCCESSFUL. But in 3-4 seconds I need to go through the same process again. VERY FRUSTRATING! It's evidently looping, despite my VERIFICATION SUCCESSFUL alert. I tried this 20 times in a row, with no success. Any suggestions about how to put an end to this annoying situation? I have sold items before with no problems or issues whatsoever. Thank you. (posted on January 2, 2021)

If you are using Firefox, Enhanced Tracking Protection can cause such issues -- try disabling that on eBay.

Try another browser to see if that works any better.
