I’m back to selling, after a few year gap. Changes!

I buy my shipping label from eBay, and for ex am told the price is $13.75. When I go to PayPal, why do I see $14.50 was taken from my PayPal account for that label?  As you know, every penny counts.

I must be missing something. I’ve been through all the Shipping info but don’t see this addressed. Is PayPal adding that $0.75 as their service charge?

If you are using eBay Shipping to purchase your labels

and paying for those labels with your PayPal Account,

there should be no difference.

------------------------------------------------------------------

But something is nagging at me ... a 75¢ difference.

Exaxctly where did you see the $13.75 amount?

On the label purchase page?

Or is that the amount that the buyer paid to you for shipping?

Effective Oct 3rd, USPS added a temporary surcharge for the Holiday season:

Priority Mail Flat Rate and Priority Mail Express Flat Rate

  • $0.75 increase for all Flat Rate Boxes and Envelopes

Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express, and Parcel Select Ground

  • $0.25 increase for 1-10 lb, Zones 1-4
  • $0.75 increase for 1-10 lb, Zones 5-9
  • $1.50 increase for 11-20 lb, Zones 1-4
  • $3.00 increase for 11-20 lb, Zones 5-9
  • $2.50 increase for 21-70 lb, Zones 1-4
  • $5.00 increase for 21-70 lb, Zones 5-9

To add to my original post ... I am unable to edit ....

$13.75 is the normal cost of a PM med frb.

With surcharge, the cost would be $14.50.

But both eBay Shipping's label purchase page &

your PayPal Account should have only shown the $14.50
