Shipping to Portland, OR

I have an offer from a seller located in China and they want it shipped to Portland, OR. Is it safe or a scam? Is shipping to this place in Portland, OR like the global shipping program? So once it's received I'm not responsible if it's lost on the way to China? I do offer the global shipping program. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

@teresaala4   Advise the Buyer that you only ship to the address on file at the time of order.  If their address is in China then they would use the GSP ... if they use a US based freight forwarding company then you ship to that address as long as it is their official shipping address on their account.

If they are asking you to change the address on your end the answer is NO, you would lose your Seller protection.

I have shipped to freight forwarders for foreign buyers on both east and west coast.  You are only responsible for the domestic shipping NOT what might happen from the freight forwarder to the customer.

Thank you so much for your response. I haven't accepted the offer yet but in the offer is where it show to ship to Portland. When I click on the name it shows located in China. It's a high dollar item so I want to be careful. I was also reading something about Ebay charges an extra fee if the buyer is located out of the US but wants it shipped to a US location. Have you had that happen when you sent items to other shippers like this one?
