Shipping to China from USA

First time selling on eBay. I have a large vase that was purchased by someone in China. What is the best way to mail a vase to China? Go to the post office?  What steps do I need to take. What I listed as a shipping price is going to be probably half of what it will cost to get to China. What do I do about that?

Wow...shipping a $1K large vase to China is very risky, especially for a new seller. You would be on the hook for the total cost if anything goes wrong.

You don't  even show shipping to China as an option on your listing, you only show shipping to the United States.

Have they paid yet, or asked for an invoice to include international shipping costs, or are they using a U.S. delivery address and not an address in China?

I hope you will consider canceling that order, and not ship overseas - -you can use "buyer's address" as a reason to cancel, as you only listed with shipping to the U.S.

If you want to avoid non-US bidders & shipping overseas, set your Buyer Requirements to exclude anyone with a delivery address that you don't ship to  - that will block addresses outside of the U.S.
