Shipping sold items

What is the best method for shipping sold items? Frequently, I loose money on shipping because the "calculated" shipping cost are less than the actual price at the UPS Store and/or USPS.

Hi @lassiesloot

-On this page look for your Shipping preferences and make sure your Shipping discount settings are set to charge Standard rates without discounts: Shipping Preferences

-If you use the Standard rates without discount on the page above, have accurate weight and dimensions of the item packed for shipment then Buyers will not be underpaying YOU to ship to them.

-Print your labels through eBay and get a discount (except for USPS Media Mail) and then hand deliver the packages to USPS, stand in line and get your Acceptance scan and leave with a receipt.

You are paying full retail at a shipping store or post office.  Ebay gives you a nice discount to use ebay shipping labels.   Your other choice is to set your Shipping Preference to charge buyers the retail price, but that generally sends buyers somewhere else.
