Why are my shipping charges higher than buyers paid when nothing has changed in the weight, size in listing?

Are you giving buyers the discounted rates … and buying your postage at the post office instead of online?

Just using the calculated pricing. usually a dollar or so, but its the principal.
as an example- today was shipping one out and buyer paid 7.24 and my cost was 8.68
