Hi i live in california to start it off. I recent sold my first item on ebay and had customer pay for shipping, it costed 6.99 which is just deducted from my total payout,
My question is, i dont have a box or anything, can i bring the item to my local usps and will they box it and ship it for me without me having to pay anything? Will they box it right there tape up and slap the sticker on? Shouldnt everything be paid for already since i had customer pay for shipping. I never shipped anything before. On the shipping label it says USPS PRIORITY MAIL and US POSTAGE PAID. Item is also only 5lbs

Your post office will not pack the item for you. You need to go buy a box, if you don’t have one that your item will fit in. Walmart is a good place to look for a single box. Also but something to fill in the box to keep the item from bouncing around - bubble wrap or brown craft paper that you can crumple up are good choices.
Also buy a roll of packing tape so you can secure the package top and bottom, and tape your label to the box. Try not to tape over the bar code.
You post office has what is called flat rate boxes for free, but you did not print a label for a flat rate box - if your item would fit in one of the flat rate boxes, you could void the label you created and buy a new label for a flat rate box. You would have to go get one of each size box to see if your item fits. It may or may not save you any money overall - it depends on the weight and how far away your buyer is located.
