So I ran into a problem with UPS, usually I ship from a particular location, I ended up shipping from a different location and it was a terrible experience all in all, customer service was terrible and she up charged my item when I left over charging my prepaid label. I always over dim everything, and round up weight and generally upscale the weight which I did. The UPS client upscaled my item raising the shipping price from 244$ to 1574$, the item was 16 lbs and I got charged for a item weighing 288 lbs, now I’ve contacted eBay and have been waiting on this to be corrected it’s been a week now and I haven’t heard or seen anything in regards to the correction. Has anyone gone through this and is there a different process to go about this?

Your problem is with UPS not ebay, however from what you have written you are not calculating shipping using either ebay's calculator so that the package cost for the dimensions and weight you enter can be calculated for shipping from your location to a buyer's based on zip code. You should use the calculator and print labels through ebay, then drop off the package instead of allowing a clerk who works for the UPS franchise owner to do the calculations for you.
Have you searched the UPS site to find out what the maximum package dimensions are, before UPS will charge you the Dimensional (DIM) shipping cost? If your package falls under the dimensions and weigh restriction for the particular service, then the clerk was scamming you, and you should try contacting UPS about that situation.
