Canadian here. I've purchased several used items from the U.S. and although it can take up to three weeks, I've had no issues with delivery. The last purchase, however, switched from USPS to DHL at the International Hub. It not only took over a month to get to me, DHL charged me duty fees (the item was used, not new). In the meantime, I had ordered and received an Etsy order from Sweden! Took only 2 weeks! Now I have another package that has been picked up by DHL and it will be at least a month by the time it gets to me. The good news is it has cleared customs and so far, they haven't asked for duty fees. I received another eBay order that was placed on the same day last week. It did not go to DHL. Has anyone else had this kind of experience with shipping?

@malip-8192 Sadly the seller has no control over what shipping company eBay uses after the item reaches the eBay International Shipping Hub.
eBay controls the shipping method to the buyer and they ship the method that they get charged the least amount for.

Thanks for the link! I completely understand that sellers have no control over the shipping method. It's too bad eBay does it like this, especially since the shipping costs are outrageous. I usually pay the same amount in shipping as I do for the item itself.
