 Last years, it became very, very very big problem!!!!!!!!!! Americans ship knives only to themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????? What is this egoism??????????????????? Us, from small country Israel, do send to U.S, MOST OF THE wORLD, DO SEND TO  U.S!!!!!!!!!  I don't knoe, Americans became egoistic and spoiles about that shipping method!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I  suggest that ebay will close the Worldwide website, and keep only website, to inside, spoiled, egoistic Americans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Likely it has less to do with egoism and more to do with other countries that have laws regarding importing or buying knives and things like age requirements that eBay cannot easily enforce except by blocking shipping to certain countries. Sellers that would rather not deal with those exceptions may simply limit their sales to places they know they will not run into trouble dealing with.

eBay has policies regarding Restricted items.  The restrictions can be from many different places.  They often have to comply with laws and regulations from various countries.  Sellers do not make those rules, eBay does in compliance with other entities and to reduce liability.  Every internet sales venue in the USA has rules they have to follow or risk liability.
