I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong ;( I sell coins, so everything can go first class. I've set up my business policies for calculated first class, but every time I sell something ebay customer pays for 1st class, but when I go to print a label, the only option is ground advantage. My weight is generally 2 oz, it's in a 4x6 flat card mailer under 1/4 inch....but still I have been taking it on the chin for $3.96. I don't understand why it's not giving me the option to print first class mail, (1st class package doesn't even show up anywhere) Got any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

You are not doing anything wrong. For some reason, eBay allows Sellers the option to chose First Class Large Envelope when setting up a new listing. However, that option is not available to print a label on eBay. eBay does not offer tracking for a FC Large Envelope and you need to select a trackable option to print a label. Then it defaults to the more expensive Ground Advantage.
eBay offers the eBay Standard Envelope for selling coins up to $20.

this option comes with limited tracking, starts at $0.64/oz and carries $20 insurance.

The USPS eliminated First Class Package on July 9, 2023 and we now have USPS Ground Advantage.
If you are shipping coins priced at $20 or less, they can be sent using ebay Standard Envelope. Select that option when creating the listing.
No smaller than 3.5 x 5
No larger than 6.125 x 11.5
Envelope thickness is uniform, less than 0.25 inches at all points, and not too rigid
The tracking number is only read by the sorting hubs, so make sure the envelope is flexible enough to wrap around a Coke can, so it can easily go through through those sorting machines.
