Shipping fees

I'm new to ebay..but when I sold my first item I made it to wher buyer pays for the shipping and I was only given a little over 11 bucks and the shipping cost me 23 n some change..is there anyway to get the rest of my shipping cost back or am I s.o.l?

You must pay the difference - you are responsible for entering the correct weight and dimensions so that eBay can charge the correct amount for the shipping.
